Clayton Kershaw is baseballs top pitchers

Clayton Kershaw has won 2 Cy Young awards, a career ERA of 2.60, and 1180 innings pitched and he is only 25 years old. The lefty has been a great acquisition since the Dodgers acquired him in the 2006 Draft.

Ever since his rookie year in 2008 Kershaw has been one of the leagues most dominating pitchers with a 77-46 record, 2.60 ERA, and 1180 innings pitched. Some may be cautious of his high workload at such a young age but I think if he hasn't had arm troubles yet he won't in at least the near future.

I think Kershaw is baseballs top pitcher and he has the stats to prove it. In 2013 hitters batted .195/.244/.311 against him and struck out 232 times against 52 walks. He threw 64% strikes and only 18% of balls in play were line drives.

I think Kershaw, not Justin Verlander or Felix Hernandez is the ace of the MLB.
